Meet the Mind Behind EMG.
Erica Gathers founded EMG Training & Consulting after seeing a familiar pattern across workplaces: talented people were eager to grow, but too many training sessions left them uninspired and unsure what to do differently. She created EMG to turn those sessions into engaging experiences that challenge people to think, practice, and apply what they learn.
Erica brings more than 20 years of experience across education, human resources, and training and development. Her work spans K–12 school districts, corporations, and nonprofit organizations, giving her a practical understanding of the different pressures leaders and teams face. Whether she is designing a leadership series or facilitating a custom workshop, she connects the learning to the decisions participants make every day.
Erica is personally involved in every EMG engagement. Her approach is grounded in a belief shaped by years of working with people: growth happens when participants feel seen, challenged, and supported.
EMG Training & Consulting is certified with the City of Houston as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Woman Business Enterprise (WBE), and holds Hire Houston First (HHF) certification.
